Lee Stuart and the Nebraska Bank of Commerce Board of Directors is proud to announce Joel Clements as the bank’s President/CEO effective January 13, 2023.

Joel Clements has the distinction of being the first employee of the bank when it was originally chartered in 2007 and has grown with the organization over the last 16 years. As President/CEO, Joel will oversee the management and strategic direction of the bank. He will continue to work with the loan portfolio and will assist in continued growth and business development activities throughout Lincoln, Omaha, and the surrounding communities.

Joel has been a commercial banking officer with NBC since 2007 and most recently served as the bank’s Executive Vice President of Commercial Lending. Joel served as CEO of NBC Trust Company from 2016 to 2019 and currently serves on the board of directors for NBC and NBC Trust Company. Serving his community, Joel is currently a board member of Centerpointe and Elmwood-Murdock School Board member. He and his wife Jessica have one son Conner and reside on an acreage between Lincoln and Omaha.
